There is no pleasure comparable to the pleasure of reading good books. It is an utmost satisfactory affair. There are some lovers of books who read any printed matter -even a timetable when they get nothing else to read. Books bring immense joy and warmth,
enlarges the frontiers of knowledge, widens the outlook and sustains the heart of the reader. Reading indeed is to the mind what exercise is to the body. Books play an important role in our life. Books are our friends in a real sense. They demand nothing from us. They give us plenty of joy. A good book improve our standard of living. They tone up our intellectual taste they make our outlook broad. They encourage us when we are defeated and inspire us to work hard with hope and courage. They remove our ignorance and add to our knowledge. There are numerous books to please and satisfy readers. There are fictions, poetry, drama, biography, history, criticism....novelists and dramatists and poets. And also critics and biographers and historians. The importance and advantages of reading books are many.
Enuf with the plenty gist. There is more to life than just chit-chatting with people and having fun. TRY READ A GOOD BOOK.
As in other matter of books, what is good for one man may not be so for another man.
